Iguana Live at the Public Library VANnU
Framingham, MA, December 9, 2010. Infor announced today that the Public Library of VANnU in the Netherlands has successfully implemented Infor's Iguana user collaboration and marketing platform. Public Library of VANnU has implemented Iguana to renew the library's web site and to provide users with interactive ways to explore the library's collections and services.
Public Library VanNU serves the communities of Roosendaal, Halderberge en Moerdijk. With Iguana, the library delivers new online services to its users. Throughout the site, an interactive book river displays recommended items from the library's collections. Users can view personalized suggestions and most popular items. Other features include integrated mashups such as Google maps, word clouds, faceted search, and personal profiles where users can create their own interest profiles and view recommended items. The library's catalog has been directly integrated in the site enabling users to explore the library's collections from any page.
Joëlle Bakx- Domburg, project manager, Bibliotheek VANnU, says: "The new website provides us the possibility to offer personalization and ease of use, enabling us to connect better with existing and new customers, and to inspire and advise them.” A VANnU customer adds: "The new site is great. I immediately started using it. It's very well laid out and personalized and I place reservations quite frequently now. Absolutely worth the investment. My compliments.”
