Muse Global and Infor Library and Information Solutions Announce Collaboration on Mobile Search Platform

Framingham, MA and San Francisco, CA. April 18, 2012. Muse Global, Inc. and Infor Library and Information Solutions are pleased to announce their collaboration to offer libraries a custom mobile search platform. Through this collaboration, Infor Library and Information Solutions will offer MuseGlobal’s mobile search interface within the NOW mobile solution, providing mobile access to a library’s catalog and subscription databases.

The Muse mobile search platform is entirely cloud-based and utilizes standard protocols such as SIP2 and Z39.50. Libraries are not required to export data, and the platform is readily implemented with minimal resources. Through Muse, library users can search a library’s catalog or subscription databases and enjoy access to their accounts to place holds, renew items on loan, and more.
