V-sources Electronic Resources Management

Electronic resources are an indispensable part of a library's collection and service offerings. Yet, as libraries subscribe to an ever-increasing array of databases, they also face a growing challenge to adequately assess and manage their diverse subscriptions. With the V-sources Electronic Resources Management System (ERMS), libraries can effectively manage the evaluation, selection, acquisition, implementation and administration of electronic resources.

V-sources offers libraries and information centers a comprehensive environment to manage the entire life cycle of their electronic resources subscriptions - from discovery to administration. The system is based on the electronic resources entity schema set forth in the Digital Library Federation Electronic Resource Management Initiative Report (Feb. 2005). Highly dynamic and customizable, V-sources integrates with any library automation system, Web OPAC or federated search tool.
